Case Study: Handmade Theatre Productions

Client requirement

Hand Made Productions tours with the play “Pure” among others.  As a small production company they do not have the in-house resources for promotion and sought a sympathetic company to assist in this area.

Serene Communications response

We assisted the production team to promote the play providing insights into a long-term strategy for the play’s promotion.  We helped Hand Made Productions find potential performance possibilities and developed relations with partner organisations for promotional support.

Client outcomes

In addition to gaining additional publicity for ‘Pure’, we secured a performance of the play at Birmingham University in 2003 and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and ‘The Village’ also in New York in March 2004.  This has led to demand for performances elsewhere.

Client Response

“Serene Communications has provided exceptional opportunities for the presentation of our theatre company’s work.

Serene Communications is an organisation of integrity, making the seemingly impossible possible whilst maintaining the highest ethical standards. The Company’s strength in communicating with a quick sense of who needs to meet whom in order for a dream possibility to become a reality, bringing creative artists, NGOs and politicians into the same frame with the purpose of promoting quality in communications.  This is a global pursuit and a concern of this company beyond meeting its own targets or expanding its own client base.

This is a company that sees communication as a fundamental human necessity.  Serene Communications is serious about bringing people together and empowering dialogue between unlikely as well as likely partners.”
