For National Enterprise Week each year there is a women in enterprise day. Business Link and the Regional Development Agencies are keen to celebrate the SMEs active and growing in their regions.
Serene Communications provided the initial idea for a conference for Gloucestershire to Business Link. We were part of the organising committee and provided the Chair. The publicity materials for the event, the logo, conference logo materials and the conference leaflet were created and published by Serene Communications for the first conference held in Cheltenham. The conference was such a success that it has become part of the annual diary for the region. Serene Communications facilitated support and funding for the conference from the European Union and the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations. The focus of the conference was rural women entrepreneurs.
Serene Communications also organised a similar conference for the Midlands held at Leicester University, working with the Fatima Network. The focus of this conference was diverse women entrepreneurs.
